1. The Oligodendroglioma Brain Tumor Research Grant
Grant amount: $50,000

Description of Grant: This grant funds translational research specifically focusing on oligodendrogliomas.

2. The Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor Research Grant
Grant amount: $50,000

Description of Grant: This grant funds translational research specifically focusing on glioblastoma multiforme.

3. The Nick Gonzales Foundation Research Grant for Glioblastoma Multiforme Funded through NBTF
Grant amount: $50,000

Description of Grant: This grant funds translational research specifically focusing on glioblastoma multiforme. The Nick Gonzales Foundation aims to provide funds for targeted research and advanced treatments for brain tumors, with special emphasis on GBMs (Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumors), the most common and aggressive form of glioma.

4. The Epidemiology Brain Tumor Research Grant
Grant amount: $50,000

Description of Grant: This grant will fund a research project focusing on the causes of brain tumors. Special consideration will be given to members of the Brain Tumor Epidemiology Consortium (BTEC). For more information about BTEC please visit http://epi.grants.cancer.gov/btec/.

5. The Caregiver/Quality of Life Brain Tumor Research Grant
Grant amount: $15,000

Description of Grant: Caregivers of brain tumor patients face unique challenges and stresses in caring for their loved one. Funding will be provided for research that has 2 components - qualitative/quantitative and interventional.  Preference will be given to research that increases understanding of the caregiver experience in areas such physical and mental health, financial impact and work issues and also develops interventions to improve caregiver health, quality of life and care giving effectiveness.
