My Wonderful Husband

by Kari

In September of 2010, we learned that my husband of sixteen years had the "meanest tumor" according to the doctor. He stated that is life expectancy wouldn't be much longer, but they would do what they could to slow the cancer down so he could enjoy what time he had left with family. Well, nine grueling months later, he finally passed away. Another tumor had started to grow during the initial radiation and chemotherapy treatments. When it was finally located, he was informed that because it grew back so fast and because of where the second one was located, there was nothing they could do. He donated his body to science in hopes that someone else doesn't go through what we went through. I hope they were able to use it.
