I was twelve years old when I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. After a twelve hour surgery, I was told that I would only be going home in about 3-6 weeks. I told everyone that I was going home in five days; they said that it would be impossible for me to walk and eat properly in a span of five days. Well I was wrong about going home in five days; I went home in three days. I am currently nineteen years old and a cancer survivor. Every time I think about what I went through, I always think about my positive mind that I had after my biggest surgery. Your mind is the most powerful tool you will ever have.
