My brother was diagnosed of brain tumour in the year 2000 and was operated on immediately. After the surgery he was given radiation and had a peaceful life until 2008 with seizures occassionally but sometimes quite frequently. In the year 2008 when his sezures suddenly increased, we were asked to go for a MRI which showed that the tumour had grown again with a higher grade than earlier. The doctors decided to operate again and it was followed by chemotherapy. After that he was a bit stable with occasional seizures but was unable to go to work, which was quite natural, due to his health. The treatment continued until the same happened in September 2011 when he was seriously ill and a routine MRI showed that the tumour had come back again. This time it was not easy for the doctors to decide whether to go for a surgery, but after a few meetings with the family members, they underwent the surgery again, but since the surgery my brother is unable to speak. He might utter a few words but far from what used to be before the surgery. And now since September 2011 his health has been detiorating day by day and, at this moment when I am writing this aricle, he has been admitted in the hospital as he has not been eating for the past few days. But I would still say that he has had great help from the doctors all the time and they are still trying to cover him and bring him back to normal. I would request you guys to try TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN MUMBAI, INDIA. As far as my experience is concerned, they are certainly one of the best I have ever met.
