In just a few days, the National Brain Tumor Society 2012 Summit will begin in Boston, MA. From Oct 11 -13, the organization will gather the nation's leading brain tumor researchers and experts from institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Children's National Medical Center to discuss current research and key findings, celebrate the year’s accomplishments, and collaborate to get closer to a cure. This event provides a forum for the National Brain Tumor Society to draw on the varied expertise of the participating organizations to deliver translational science that moves discovery to therapy sooner.
Through research program updates and workshops at the 2012 Summit, National Brain Tumor Society also serves as an advisor and participant in these key conversations to guide the science toward effective and beneficial outcomes for brain tumor patients and families.
