Thirteen-year-old Justin Friedlander appears on CBS Early Show on April 2 shooting hoops for all of those diagnosed with a brain tumor.
In March 2009, Justin was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor called an optic nerve glioma. He and his family were devastated by this life-changing news; however, Justin decided to take action and now he is on a mission to find a cure for brain tumors.
Justin's Quest is to shoot 63,000 baskets, one for every person diagnosed with a primary brain tumor each year in the United States. In addition, through Justin's Quest, the Friedlanders have a goal to raise $250,000 for brain tumor research through the National Brain Tumor Society.
