NBTS advocated for patients' rights to a range of treatment options
Genentech, Inc. announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted accelerated approval of Avastin® (bevacizumab) for people with glioblastoma with progressive disease following prior therapy.
National Brain Tumor Society advocated for patients' rights to a range of treatment choices and options, and NBTS represented the brain tumor patient community and relevant issues to the FDA’s Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee (ODAC) at its March 31 hearing.
