National Brain Tumor Society is pleased to announce the new research focus at NBTS will be renamed the Mary Catherine Calisto Systems Biology Research Initiative to acknowledge her substantial contributions to NBTS. As Board Chair of the legacy organization, Brain Tumor Society, Mary Catherine’s leadership through the merger was invaluable. As NBTS Research Committee Chair, she was the driving force behind the revamping of the research program which has resulted in the exciting Systems Biology Initiative among other things. We are grateful for her dedication and honor her for her role in making NBTS what it is today and what it will be in the future.
