  1. Where/when do Brain Tumor Walks take place?

In 2010, Brain Tumor Walks will take place in eight cities across the U.S.: San Francisco, Denver, Portland, San Diego, Boston, Phoenix, Orange County, and Dallas-Ft. Worth. Plan to participate in one or more than one event, in a city near you.

  2. If I want to participate in a Brain Tumor Walk what’s my first step?

You can organize a team, join an existing team, or participate as an individual. If you are organizing a team, be sure to name your team, designate a team captain, and register as part of that team. Registration can be done online or by mail. Once you register, NBTS will provide you all the tools you need to achieve your fundraising goals.

  3. What do registration fees include? Am I expected to fundraise a minimum amount?

Registration fees include an event t-shirt, food, beverages, and full access to activities. In addition to registration fees, adults are encouraged to fundraise a minimum amount depending on the event city (see event specific pages). Registration fees are applied to your fundraising total.

  4. In addition to participating in a Brain Tumor Walk, what else can I do to help support the Brain Tumor Walk?

There are many opportunities for people to become involved in the Brain Tumor Walks, from becoming a sponsor or making an in-kind donation to volunteering on the planning committee or on the day of event.
