The National Brain Tumor Society 2014 Summit is an opportunity to see how, together, we’re creating systemic change, hear about exciting advances in the field, and celebrate the incredible successes and dedication of our community.

Our 2014 Summit includes:

National Brain Tumor Society Annual Meeting

Wednesday, October 1, 5:30-9:30 PM, Hotel Marlowe, Cambridge, MA
Community Reception at 5:30 PM, followed by 6:30 PM Dinner Program

Join leaders in research, industry, government, and the medical community, along with brain tumor patients and families for an intimate and engaging evening and dinner program.

  • Join keynote speaker Clifton Leaf, author of The Truth in Small Doses, to learn how systemic change is the key to progress in discovering new treatments.
  • Celebrate Community Leadership Award recipients making a difference through their commitment to the cause – Mario Lichtenstein, founder of Voices Against Brain Cancer; Emily Morrison of Team Sweet Emily, presented to Mack and Alice Morrison; and Bill Coffman, riding for almost two decades in the Boston Brain Tumor Ride.
  • See how the innovative programs of the National Brain Tumor Society are making an impact in the fight against brain tumors and helping raise our collective voice.
  • Honor Feldman Founder’s Award Recipient Dr. Darell D. Bigner, Director of both The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center and Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Institute at Duke University, for his invaluable impact on the field of brain tumor research.

In addition to the Annual Meeting, the National Brain Tumor Society Summit is a place where key advisors and volunteers convene with staff and Board members for strategic sessions and project initiative working groups. See a recap of last year’s Summit events.
