Online Campaigns Specialist

The National Brain Tumor Society seeks a savvy, detail-oriented, data-driven professional for a web-based position supporting fundraising event websites and email campaigns. This position requires experience with Convio's suite of eCRM tools, strong experience and understanding of HTML/CSS code, and proficiency in managing data through a Constituent Relationship Management tool such as Common Ground or Raiser's Edge. This individual will support users in the organization's use of Convio's eCRM and Common Ground products. A successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and excel at working within a highly collaborative team culture.

The Online Campaigns Specialist is a member of the Information Services Department department and reports to the Online Operations Manager. This position can be based in the Watertown, MA or San Francisco, CA offices; telecommuting is a possibility for the ideal candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Code and thoroughly test custom emails intended for large target audiences (includes e-newsletters, event recruiting emails, emails to event participants, etc.)
  • Support online campaigns and provide expertise in best practices to enhance constituent engagement
  • Create and maintain team-based event websites and system configurations within Convio's Luminate Online platform
  • Maintain document and image libraries
  • Assist with management of multiple event calendars
  • Assist with management and resolution of issues arising during the registration and donation process, including collaborating with vendor technical support
  • Author and maintain policy and procedural documentation
  • Create and maintain recipient groups for targeted mass emails
  • Provide support for NBTS junior administrators
  • Provide reporting as needed
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Stay abreast of system changes that may impact the organization

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with Convio's Luminate Online and CRM products, particularly in the context of TeamRaiser and Email Campaigns
  • Proficiency with a CRM data system such as Convio Luminate CRM, Salesforce, or Raiser's Edge
  • Experience and strong understanding of HTML/CSS coding, especially for emails and eNewsletters
  • Understanding of the concepts underlying conditionalized coding
  • Practical working experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Exemplary attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
