Sunday, May 2, 2010
Freedom Plaza, Washington, DC

On May 2, 2010, over 10,000 runners, walkers, volunteers, and sponsors gathered at Freedom Plaza for the 13th Annual Race for Hope - Washington, DC 5k Run/Walk Presented by Cassidy Turley, one of the largest national fundraisers to benefit the brain tumor community! Through generous gifts from individuals and company sponsorships, the Race for Hope - DC has raised more than $9 million in its history, including a record-breaking $2 million in 2009, and grows each year.

A 5K course in the nation's capital, the Race for Hope - DC is open to everyone, and is a fun way to join forces in the fight against brain tumors. Donations are still being accepted at  www.CureBrainTumors.org. The Race funds research and support services for those affected by this disease. Proceeds benefit National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
