A brain tumor diagnosis can be scary and overwhelming. Getting connected to others is an important way to find information, support and hope. This section includes information to help you or your loved one find the support you need to stay strong.
Find a Support Group near You
Brain tumor support groups are filled with people who have been where you are now--they have been diagnosed, gone through treatment, and are living as survivors. Finding a group in your area for networking and support can be very helpful. Click here to search by zip code or state.
Talk with another Survivor or Caregiver
Most patients and families tell us they wish they had met another survivor sooner. Talking one-on-one with someone who has been where you are will help you learn about their experience and share what questions or feelings you have. The NBTF Patient and Caregiver Support Networks will allow you to search by age, tumor type, or caregiving relationship for someone to talk with by email or phone. Click here to learn more.
Support and Workshops for Caregivers
The NBTF Family Caregiver Training Program provides free day-long workshops in communities across the country. Learn what you need to know if someone you love has a brain tumor.

Message Boards
NBTF provides free online message boards for brain tumor patients, survivors, and their families and friends. You can post questions on these boards and other patients or family members will answer. You can also read past posts to learn about topics of interest to you, such as symptoms, clinical trials, or personality changes.
