The Innovation Research Grant Program is designed to support highly innovative, transformative or catalytic research projects that will significantly move the field forward. These may include “out-of-the-box” projects. In addition, NBTS may proactively solicit potentially transformative research projects for this program. The Innovation program is open to invest in promising investigations that have less existing data or other background material than required for Standard and Advanced applications. Researchers at all stages of their career may apply.

$150,000 per year (2 years)
NBTS intends to solicit Innovation Grant Letters of Intent via our website several times per year. Application dates will vary. Limited awards will be granted.
